2019 JAM Clinics – “Jam in the Morning”

Jazz Arts of the Mountainwest, along with the 2019 Utah Jazz & Roots Festival, is proud to announce the return of the JAM Clinics! We are excited to be back at the Gallivan Center on September 7th, from 8:00 AM -12:00 PM.
This year’s “Jam in the Morning” clinics will feature 4 fantastic sessions provided by the very best musicians and artists in the jazz community. Music education is a key objective of JAM. If you have a child interested in music or even if you are a long-time musician, these clinics will feature the best instructions from some of the main performers in this year’s festival.
The clinics will be held in the Gallivan Hall (see map below), in the second floor main reception hall. Come through the main gate and get there early!
Clinic Schedule
9:00 am: Emilee Floor – Vocal/Piano Clinic
10:00 am: Kris Johnson – Composition Clinic
11:00 am: Lewis Nash – Drum Clinic
