The JAM All-Star High School Ensemble provides unique, advanced-level training and performance opportunities for some of the most talented musicians in the nation. Selected annually by competitive audition, program participants hone their skills by rehearsing and performing with world-class musicians and educators, in both Big Band and small ensemble formats. The program is free to participants throughout the school year.

 

Through the JAM Meet the Masters program, Ensemble members enjoy regular workshops, master classes and mentoring sessions with leading artists, such as Ira Nephis, Chuck Findley, Tom Garvin, and other members of The Salt Lake City Jazz Orchestra.
