How long have you been studying dance?
I have been dancing for 16 years.

What style of dance do you do? What is your favorite?
I have been trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, ballroom, and modern. My favorite is tie between ballet and contemporary.

Where did you get your beginning training?
I trained at The Pointe Academy throughout my grade school years.

Where else have you trained? Where would you like to train, ultimately?
I am continuing my dance training in UVU’s dance department. I am majoring in modern dance.

What year of school are you currently in?
I am a sophomore at UVU.

What school do you currently attend?
I attend Utah Valley University.

What is your favorite style of dance?
My favorite styles of dance are ballet and contemporary.

Have you danced in any competitions?
I grew up training at a competitive dance studio and would attend around 3-4 dance competitions a year. I no longer do competitive dance.

What ballets have you performed in? In what role?
I have performed in Sleeping Beauty and Don Quixote.

What other productions have you performed in?
I’ve performed in Shift Dance Company’s show as a part of their youth group. I have performed in many studio productions at The Pointe Academy. I’ve danced in UVU tap company’s showcase as a member of Espirit, UVU’s hip hop company and, of course, the JAM Christmas Follies.

What are your favorite hobbies, other than dance?
I really like to read and watch movies. Anything where I can wear some sweatpants and get comfy.

What are your goals with dance?
My goals for dance are to continue my degree at UVU, join a professional company, and get a job as a dance teacher.
