An Interview with Renowned Pianist/Vocalist Emilee Floor

JASON: Well, Emilee. we have just a little over a month before THE JAM CHRISTMAS FOLLIES once again, takes the stage. Are you getting excited for another great show?

EMILEE: Absolutely. This show is a treat for me, not only because I get to be the headliner, but I also love sharing the stage with THE SALT LAKE CITY JAZZ ORCHESTRA, wonderful dancers, and, of course, the RISEUP CHILDRENS CHOIR.

JASON: Do you miss New York?

EMILEE: Well, I spent nearly twelve years performing in some of the most elegant hotels in New York City. Do I miss it? Of course. But I must say, I was lucky to leave the City one week before the Pandemic took over and crippled the City and particularly the music business.

JASON: Was it a culture shock to come back to your home city?

EMILEE: Not really. I love Salt Lake City. The musicianship is fabulous here and we are going to dazzle the audience with Christmas cheer!

JASON: Do you have a few words about the show?

EMILEE: Where do you go to see fabulous local talent performing with a seventeen piece big band, and LIVE!
